Coordination of international tax return preparation in lead and subsidiary countries

The RSMi member in the lead country will coordinate the preparation of income and other required tax returns in the other countries in which the client or its affiliates has a tax presence.

Approach

Each RSMi member has an International Services Desk or International Contact Partner through which inquiries routed to or received from other RSMi members are recorded, assigned, and tracked. Thus, RSMi is equipped to serve as the international projects manager mid-corporates often cannot afford to have.

Benefits

The other global and national accounting firms do offer the services of their global affiliates. But, mid-corporates and small public companies are often left to sort out the responsibilities and appropriate contacts outside the lead country. On the other hand, RSMi’s approach is to provide a lead contact through which direct responsibility is assigned and timely results are achieved.
