What personal information do we collect?

In order to use the services provided through the Exchange, we ask you to submit information such as your name, firm details, e-mail address, postal address, telephone number, password and details of client referrals.

What do we collect and use personal information for?

We collect the information that you submit to us in order to:

  • record and track client referral reports;
  • anticipate and resolve problems with any facilities or services available to you through the Exchange;
  • respond to you and answer any questions or queries which you may raise;
  • improve the content of the Exchange; and
  • send you information about products and services that you have expressed an interest in.

In order to provide the best information to you, RSMi may pass your personal data and any questions or queries you may have raised to one of its group companies or affiliates (some of which are located outside the EEA), who may respond directly to you.

Log files/IP addresses

When you visit the Exchange , we automatically log your IP address (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet) which is automatically recognised by our web server. We use IP addresses to help us administer the Site and to collect broad demographic information for aggregate use. We do not link IP addresses to personally identifiable information.

Non personal information

We may automatically collect non-personal information about you such as the type of internet browsers you use or the site from which you linked to the Exchange. You cannot be identified from this information and it is only used to assist us in providing an effective service on the Exchange.
